My Class Cares is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Our federal tax ID# is 20-1802885. Our mission is to inspire youth to care deeply for the well being of people throughout the world. We want today's youth to be passionate about solving global problems and creating a better society for all.
Thanks to the help of many teachers and students who have been involved in our activities since 2004, we have implemented service-learning programs to benefit children in 35 countries. We are currently running two distinct programs:
The Memory Project is a unique initiative in which art students create portraits for children and teens around the world who have been neglected, orphaned, or disadvantaged.
E-luminate is a service-learning program that engages students at all grade levels in creating nonfiction educational materials for some of the world's most vulnerable children.
